Documenting My Own Family | Suttons Bay Family Photographer

When I am invited into someone’s home, to share in their moments, their mess, and things they are proud of, I don’t take that privilege lightly.  Opening yourself up for someone to document all of these things takes a great measure of vulnerability.

So, in that spirit, I wanted to share a sweet film of my family to show you how I document my own family.  This was made four winters ago, and now, several years later, I deeply treasure it. Both of my boys have grown, we continue to do some of the same activities shown in the film and some have gone by the wayside.  Take a peek:
